LEAD SYSTEM ARCHITECT
ANALYSIS / DESIGN
- Provide technical guidance and review of program/database design
- Identify and recommend solutions to improve the design solution
- J2EE development for a web application including design patterns, EJBs, MVC, Struts, JSF
- Knowledge of developing J2EE application using Rational Application Developer IDE.
- Knowledge of XML and SOAP
- Extensive experience in architecting extremely complex information systems on the z/OS mainframe using J2EE, Websphere Application Server (WAS) and DB2 with knowledge of building web applications
- Expert knowledge of IT analytical and evaluative methods, architecture principles, standards, trends in technology and industry best practices
- Knowledge of building high performance and scalable applications with a high level of security within the project’s target environment.
- Knowledge of the creation and deployment of Web Service
- Knowledge of using Object Oriented Design and Development practices using Java to build complex information systems
- Experience is Software Configuration Management and application deployment, specifically a J2EE web application on WAS in the z/OS environment
- Knowledge of making calls to DB2 DB on z/OS from COBOL
- Extensive experience in building both on-line and batch applications
